PERTH (miningweekly.com) - Financial services provider UBS AG has taken 5% shareholding in ASX-listed Silver Lake Resources.
UBS AG now holds more than 11.3-million shares in the gold company.
Silver Lake recently launched a A$426-million takeover of fellow listed gold miner Integra Mining, offering its shareholders one Silver Lake share for every 6.28 Integra shares held.
The offer was a 43.6% premium to the company’s closing price on August 3, and a 40.3% premium to the 20-day volume-weighted average price of Integra shares.
Integra’s directors would unanimously recommend the offer, in the absence of a superior proposal.
